Free Health Screenings

There will be stations for the following FREE health screenings and services at the Expo for adults and children:

• Total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, and glucose screening for the first 150 adults provided by the UNC Division of Cardiology, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
• Blood pressure screening for children and adults provided by registered nurses
• Body Mass Index screening for children and adults provided by Dr. Amelyn Olson, BSN-RN, MPH
• Nutritional and physical activity assessments and goal setting counseling provided by Dr. Amelyn Olson
• Speech and hearing screenings for children by Advantage Therapy
• Postural assessments and scoliosis checks for children and adults provided by Dawn of Health Specific Chiropractic
• Nervous system analysis for adult and children provided by North Hills Family Chiropractic
• Instruction in dental care and hygiene for children provided by Brier Creek Dental along with free child toothbrush kits and drawings for five Sonicare child toothbrushes
